Contractors Exam Prices in Florida
To become a state-certified contractor in Florida, one of the most important things the state requires is a passing score on all parts of the Florida State Construction Exams. Exam prices vary depending on whether the exam will be done online (computer-based) or paper-based testing. All applicants must first register by submitting the official Exam Registration form to Professional Testing. The exam prices do not include the registration fee for any exams. The registration fee may be sent to Professional Testing via money order, check, or credit card. Professional Testing does not take any registrations over the phone.

When paying by credit card, the credit card will be charged by Professional Testing $135.00 for the registration fee. If the applicant will be paying by check, money order or cashier check - the $135.00 registration fee should be payable to Professional Testing. The fees for Business and Finance, Trade Knowledge, Contract Administration and Project Management will be collected by Pearson Vue at the time the applicant schedules the computer exam.
If paying by check, money order or cashier check - there must be two separate payments, $135 registration fee (payable to Professional Testing) and $80 exam site administration fee (payable to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation . If paying by credit card - your credit card will be charged $215 by Professional Testing to cover the $135 registration fee and the $80 exam site administration fee Both payments must be submitted simultaneously to Professional Testing.
