Sheet Metal Journeyman means a person who possesses the knowledge, ability and skill to perform sheet metal work in accordance with plans and specifications therefore and in compliance with the building code and other applicable codes and regulations. Such person shall have no less than three (3) years of practical sheet metal experience, or no less than one-half of the practical experience required for certification in the specialty sheet metal category or class for which the applicant is seeking certification as a journeyman. The holder of a Sheet Metal Journeyman Card may perform these activities under the direction of a Mechanical Contractor, Air Conditioning A, Air Conditioning B, or Sheet Metal Contractor.
