Excavation Contractor (GITS©) For Hernando County (Florida)

Excavation Contractor means the scope of certification includes the excavation or removal of material such as rock, gravel or sand to construct or excavate canals, lakes, levees, and any type of construction site development preparation, and includes the clearing of any type of land surface debris and vegetation; the grubbing of roots, the removal of debris; and the leveling or grading of any surface of the lands. As regulated under Florida Statute, a person who has passed a competency examination as an Excavation Contractor may perform these or related tasks or may supervise persons in his employ in the execution of these tasks.
