A Construction Contractor is a contractor whose contracting business consists of the performance of contracts involving two (2) or more trades, and who has the financial means and has a qualifying agent with the experience, knowledge and ability to properly build and supervise , direct and coordinate the constructions and NO more than three (3) stories high. This provision shall not prohibit you from engaging in non-structural interior alterations and repairs to taller buildings, or acting as a subcontractor under the supervision or responsibility of a general contractor in the construction of a taller structure. Said construction contractor shall subcontract to a contractor qualified in the field concerned all other work specified herein as exclusive plumbing, electrical, mechanical or liquefied petroleum gas work, including any applicable specialties and categories. A construction contractor may build, contract with, and obtain permits for the work of any specialized construction contractor within the limits of a construction contractor's work as defined herein. Such construction contractor's demolition work shall be limited to the size and scope of the buildings or structures that a construction contractor may erect.
