How to Get the Journey Worker Electrician License in Hawaii?

Meet the experience requirements: Be not less than 18 years of age and have 5 years but not less than 10,000 hours of residential or commercial wiring
Fill out the Application, provide Your Social Security Number, and attach the corresponding fee (non-refundable) as instructed in the form
Confirm if an Electrical Coursework conducted at or accepted by the University of Hawaii Community Colleges is required
Send Experience Verification as supporting documentation
Submit the complete application to the Honolulu Office at least seven working days before the next scheduled meeting date
Schedule your exam with the testing provider and present any required documents (registration certificates, fee, letter of approval, etc.)
After passing the examination and once the process has been approved, the Hawaii Board of Electricians and Plumbers will issue you a license
