  3. By using the cold chisel slowly lift the tile. Once lifted, removed the reset using your hand. Be cautious while removing the reset of the tile, it is very sharp.
  4. Remove any extra adhesive remaining on the floor. By using a dampened sponge, clean the floor
  5. Now to apply the acrylic floor adhesive to the floor. By using a notched trowel spread the adhesive out evenly. Then use the notched side to groove the adhesive.
  6. Place the new tile, make sure it is level with the reset of the floor.
  7. Clean the extra adhesive off the floor. Let the area dry for a few hours.
  8. Grout the tile by using rubber floats. Apply the grout in the cracks.
  9. Using a round handle, drag this tool along the new grout line to achieve a clean finished look.
  10. Clean off any extra grout using a damp sponge and let it cure overnight.

How to repair Drywall?

  1. Cut out a large square piece between the two studs. Using a square patch place it over the hole. By using a pencil, trace around the edges of the patch.
  2. By using a utility knife score along the traced lines you just made. Doing this will make the next step of actually removing the gypsum from the damaged drywall a lot easier. Now with the gypsum removed smooth the rough edges of the drywall with sandpaper.
  3. This opening is between two studs, you would place the patch over them. Screw on the patch onto the studs by using drywall screws and a power drill.
  4. Now to place a few strips of mesh over the drywall over the edges of the patch. The mesh would have a sticky backing, which would make it easy to apply. Cut the overhang using a utility knife. By using a putty knife spread joint compound over the mesh and screw heads.
  5. After the company is dry, sand down the area and remove any loose compound. Now the repaired wall is now ready to be primed and painted.
