Georgia Low Voltage: General Contractor License

The Low Voltage: General Contractor License allows you to do the following work:

General low-voltage systems, including but not limited to:
- Any electrical systems
- Intercom systems and call alert systems (audio or visual)
- Distribution wiring for alarm systems
- Telecommunications systems including local area network systems
- Sound systems
- Public address systems
- Low voltage side of energy management systems
- Antenna systems and satellite dish systems
- Low voltage lighting
- Irrigation system wiring

The Low Voltage: General Contractor License DOES NOT allow you to do the following work:

CATV systems exempted in Code Section 43-14-13(i)

How to Get the Low Voltage: General Contractor’s License in Georgia?

Fill out the Georgia Low Voltage: General Application form. Make sure to include the following with the application:
- Personal information
- Experience record
- 3 notarized reference forms
- Background check
- Applicant affidavit
- Required fee
