The General Contractor's license allows you to work on most trades in your construction projects, and for the trades, it does not cover, it allows you sub-out the work legally to a licensed sub. You are able to build, repair and remodel any type of building. A General Contractor license does NOT all you to perform the following work using your own employees, you need to subcontract the work. They're different requirements to meet to be able to get the license, make sure you meet all the requirements. To become a General licensed contractor in Miami, applicants must sit for two exams: business and finance and the trade. Applicants must document four years of experience. We have classes in central Miami Florida for you to get ready for the Exam. The Exam Course is unlimited, once you purchase the course it's yours forever and you can attend as many in-person classes as needed. All classes are on weekends. On Saturdays, from 9AM to 5PM (ET) we teach how to solve math and business problems, and on Sundays from 9AM to 12PM we teach how to find answers quickly within your books. Starting July 22nd, our classes will transition from in-person to live classes online, and there will be live classes available in Spanish!
