You can build, repair and remodel any building. The General Contractor license allows you to work on most trades in your construction projects, and for the trades it does not cover, it enables you to sub-out the work legally and for profit to a licensed sub-contractor. There are different requirements to meet to get the license; make sure you meet all the requirements. Some of these requirements include that applicant must sit for two exams: business and finance and trade. Applicants must document four years of experience. We have live classes for you to get ready for the Exam. The Exam Course is unlimited; once you purchase it, it's yours forever, and you can attend as many in-person classes as needed. All classes are on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). On Saturdays, from 9AM-5PM (ET), we teach how to solve math and business problems; on Sundays, from 9AM-12PM (ET), we teach how to find answers quickly within your books.
Starting July 22nd, our in-person classes will transition to live online classes! The live online classes will not have a Sunday component; they will be held on Saturdays only, from 8:30AM to 12PM (ET) and from 12:30PM to 4:30PM (ET)

If you do specific trade work, you might prefer getting a county license. You won't need a General Contractor license, in that case, if there are any further questions feel free to give us a call, 866-986-7978
