Florida Inspector Licenses

For anyone looking to be an inspector in the state of Florida, the following information throughout this article helps you to understand what is needed to obtain your license, as well as testing information. Exam Information

Computer-testing is administered frequently at over 350 sites across the nation. To get the most updated information, go to Certification Exam. What is needed to take the Exam?

You must have the following information available at the time you are registering for a Code Council computer-based certification examination:

  • Your DBPR pre-authorization letter
  • Your full name, address, and home and work telephone numbers
  • The examination date and location of the area you desire to take the exam
  • Exam ID and title
  • Your score report, if you are retaking the examination (only for those candidates who originally tested via computer)
