Florida County Master Pipefitter License (Prometric©)

Includes the design, layout, installation, maintenance, repair, and alteration of piping systems and related appurtenances that provide control of environmental conditions for air conditioning and manufacturing processes, including compressed air, fuel gas, manufacturing gases, steam, vacuum piping, process piping, and specialty piping.

Some counties consider the Master category an actual contractor’s license (used to lawfully engage in contracting) and require taking and passing a business exam. Other counties simply consider the Master category as a step above Journeyman. In cases where the county of your choice does not allow Masters to engage in contracting, you will not be required to take the business exam.
