A carpentry contractor is allowed to do the following: light and heavy carpentry work, rough framing, trusses, sheathing, metal framing, paneling, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, stairs, and incidental hardware.

Business and Law Exam

This exams tests candidate's knowledge of payroll taxes, workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, lien laws and other laws or subjects that will affect their daily operations as contractors. All contractors need to take and pass this exam.
