West Virginia Temporary Journeyman License
The Temporary Journeyman License allows you to do the following:
- Manual aboveground electrical work
How to Get the Temporary Journeyman License in West Virginia?
- Apply, pay, and pass the WVSFMO exam
- Fulfill the other requirements for Temporary Journeymen:
- 2000 hours or one year of electrical above-ground structural wiring work experience, as the National Electric Code® (NEC) stipulates
- Completion of the US Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program
- Approved 1080 hour vocational course from the Department of Education
- Fill out the application form and return it, along with the fee and other documents (if required) to:
