The Master Electrician License allows you to do the following work:

• Instruct and supervise journeyman electricians and other workers' electrical tasks

How to Get the Master Electrician License in West Virginia?

1. Fulfill the requirements:
   • 4000 hours or two years of electrical above-ground structural wiring work experience; vocational training will not be counted
2. Fill out the application form to schedule the Office’s Electrical examination (dates and locations), and return all the documents to:

   • Candidates also have the option to apply online and schedule the examination through the Public Portal established by the Office
