What is the difference between the Testing Centers?

State Testing Center

Depending on the State license you are obtaining would determine the Testing Center. For the State Examinations, an individual would either go through Pearson Vue© or PTI© (Professional Testing Inc).

County Testing Center

Depending on the county, it determines the testing centers they work with. As the test taker, it would be up your choice to pick between GITS©, Prov©, or Prometric©. You can choose to work with any of them. Once you select, it will determine the exact books you will be required to study. You will continue to work with the same company the entire time until they provide your testing scores to the Licensing Board. When choosing the company, you would like to make sure they provide excellent customer service. If you were to give them a call, do they answer the phone? Do they answer all of your questions? If you are unable to get hold of someone today, who will you call when you have a conflict?
