Permits

Building

The following are all Trades you are able to apply for:

  • Electrical
  • Fill
  • Fire Sprinkler
  • Mechanical
  • Grading
  • Fire Alarm
  • Plumbing
  • Gas
  • Excavation
  • Gas
  • Roofing
  • Sign
  • Seawalls
  • Pool installation

Tree Removal

The following is a set of guidelines for the following Permits:

  • Permits are valid for three months from the date it was issued
  • Removal should not be schedulded until a tree removal permit application has been approved

Temporary Use

The purpose of a temporary use permit is to allow activities that are not intended to be permanent

  • A complete and signed application. Incomplete applications will not be processed and will be returned
  • A parcel map locating the existing use and proposed temporary use
  • A completed and signed agent authorization form if someone else will be representing the property owner at the public hearing
  • Cash or check made payable to the City of St. Pete Beach for the amount of the application
  • Any additional information requested by staff

Irrigation

The following is a check list for the following Permits:

  • Before any work is begun by you or your contractor, file a Notice of Commencement with the Clerk of the Circuit Court
  • Before you file the Notice of Commencement be sure to check with your construction moneylender, as premature filing may affect your loan
  • Post a certified copy of the Notice of Commencement in a conspicuous place on the front of the property where the work will take place

Extension

The Extension Permits give you more time if needed on your curret project For 90 days
