Permits

The following items are among those required by the Holly Hill Code and Florida Building Code. Therefore, they must be included and filled out for the application package to be considered complete.

Building

  • Electrical

Driveway

  • Where driveways are to be constructed of asphalt, the portion within the right-of-way shall be constructed on a sub-base compacted to 98% maximum density. The base shall be a minimum of 6” of lime rock, shell rock or crushed concrete and the asphalt wearing surface shall be a minimum of 1” thick
  • Where driveways are to be constructed of concrete, the thickness shall be a minimum of 5” and the 28 days compressive strength shall be a minimum of 3000 psi
  • Owner is responsible for locating utilities and notifying appropriate agencies if applicable

Fence

  • That the fence to be constructed is or may be located within drainage or utility easement dedicated to the public
  • That I/we will allow unlimited access to the easement area by City or utility company employees in order that the purposes of the easement may be fully effectuated
  • That, I/we will not impede or obstruct Holly Hill or utility companies who have rights to the easement area from fully exercising their easement rights
  • That, if either Holly Hill or an authorized utility company removes the fence constructed under this permit application due to my/our failure to remove it within a reasonable amount of time after formal notice is given, any loss or damage to my/our property shall be my/our responsibility. It is my/our responsibility to insure that the fence is removed in order to provide use of the easement area by Holly Hill or utility companies and, further, all such removals shall be at my/our sole cost and expense
  • That this document is binding upon my/our assigns, successors in interest, transferees, heirs, and all similar persons or entities

Fire Protection

  • 2 sets of Design Plans, signed & sealed by a licensed design professional
  • 2 sets of Specifications/Technical Documents
  • Documentation of Fire Alarm Contractor License

Swimming Pool

  • Completed Permit Application. All relevant information must be provided, This includes, but may not be limited to customer/contractor information, water surface area of pool, and estimated costs. If subcontractor work (electric, plumbing) is involved with this scope of work, appropriate subcontractors information must be provided on permit application
  • Owner Builder Statement Affidavit (If Owner is Performing the Work)
  • Surveys. Customer/Contractor may provide 1 original survey and photocopy. Documents shall not be reduced or enlarged. Pool must be drawn to same scale with all dimensions clearly indicated
  • In-ground pool
