Miscellaneous Metals Erection Category--Class "MM": The scope of work of a Class "MM" specialty building contractor shall include and be limited to the fabrication, application, erection, and installation of all appurtenances, appendages, parts, and equipment composed of metal and other materials necessary and incidental thereto, in or upon buildings or other structures, including the installation of metal cabinets, store fixtures, and metal partitions which are nonbearing interior or exterior partitions made or composed of metal or other materials all of which are attached or affixed to existing openings and buildings components. A Class "MM" specialty building contractor may also fabricate, install, and erect ornamental metal fixtures, metal nonstructural members and assemblies, including railings, panels, and metal flagpoles which may be self-supporting or attached to existing buildings or other structures, and the installation and application of all hardware necessary and incidental thereto. This category shall not include the installation or erection of sunshades and shutters. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "MM" specialty building contractor by the board, the applicant shall have at least three (3) years of practical experience in the category.
