On-site temporary signs used for grand openings of businesses and other short-term events may be authorized for a display period of no more than thirty (30) days per occasion/ event when accessory to the authorized land use
A maximum of three (3) temporary signs shall be allowed per parcel per time period, one of which may be a balloon or air-activated sign
Temporary signs may not exceed a total of thirty (30) square feet in area
No more than four (4) temporary sign permits shall be issued for the same parcel during any calendar year, with a minimum of thirty (30) days between permits
A copy of this permit must be kept on-site for the 30 days of this permit
In addition, all temporary signage must be clear of all rights-of-way, parcel lines, and overhead utility lines. All signs shall be adequately secured to the ground or building to prevent horizontal movement
