Sign

  • Scaled drawing of site with streets and building locations with appropriate setbacks
  • Engineering calculations of footer and wind load certification
  • Scaled sketch of sign and advertising area
  • Applications within the Historic district may require approval from the Historic Preservation Board
  • Attach the State of Florida Department of Transportation’s fully completed application, if applicable

Stormwater Complaint

Temporary

  • A letter of permission from the property owner must be submitted if the applicant does not own the property where the special event is being held
  • Three copies of a site plan indicating tent size and type of surface over which the tent will be installed must be submitted with the application for a tent/canopy permit. A site inspection will be made within three (3) calendar days of application
  • A copy of the Florida Beverages Commission permit is required at the time of application and prior to event approval if alcohol is going to be sold
  • Off‐site signage is not permitted
  • A life safety inspection must be performed for each tent/canopy event

Tree Removal

  • Any tree that is diseased, injured and in danger of falling, or whose continued existence threatens public health and/or safety
  • The protected tree is located in such proximity to existing or proposed structures that the utility or structural integrity of such structures is materially impaired
  • The protected tree materially interferes with the location, servicing or functioning of public utility lines or service
  • The protected tree obstructs views of on-coming ground traffic or otherwise creates a substantial hazard to such traffic, or where removal of the protected tree is necessary to comply with state and/or federal requirements or is necessary to obtain state or federal financial assistance
