The Building Permit Application is the starting point in pursuing a property change. It is one of the first documents requiring completion and needs to be submitted prior to starting work to:

• Construct
• Enlarge
• Alter
• Repair
• Move
• Demolish or change the occupancy of a building or structure
• Convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system

Depending on the job, additional supporting paperwork will be required to describe the desired change. Once again, the Community Development staff will help you through the process, ensuring the modification meets code.
