Permits

To request building permit applications for Drywall, Residential Pool / Spa / Hot Tub, and Interior please visit Bushnell City Hall.

Driveway

The following information under each permit must be completed while filing the application

  • Right-of-way limits and existing physical features of the road
  • Location of the driveway
  • Physical description of driveway
  • Purpose of driveway
  • Type and amount of traffic expected
  • Pertinent drainage features

Residential Pool / Spa / Hot Tub

The following information under each permit must be completed while filing the application

  • The pool must be isolated from access to the home by an enclosure
  • The pool must be equipped with an approved safety pool cover
  • All doors and windows providing direct access from the home to the pool must be equipped with an exit alarm that has a minimum sound pressure rating of 85 decibels at 10 feet
  • All doors providing direct access from the home to the pool must be equipped with a self-closing, selflatching device with a release mechanism placed no lower than 54 inches above the floor

Interior

The following information under each permit must be completed while filing the application

  • A completed Building Permit Application and plans shall be submitted at the time of request for Early Start Authorization
  • This Early Start Authorization is for interior work only
  • Compliance with Asbestos NESHAP regulations must occur for all demolition work
  • Work shall not be concealed and must remain open for ALL necessary inspections. At the time of inspection, any concealed work shall be uncovered
  • The contractor acknowledges that all subcontractors will be properly licensed and have current workers compensation coverage
