Permits

If you plan to build, rehab or replace a structure or parts of a structure within the city limits that include one or more of the following:

• Fence
• Add on to home or business
• Shed
• Roofing
• Lanai / Porch / Deck
• Window replacements
• You must first obtain a "sign off" from the Planning & Zoning official, whose office is located on the second floor at City Hall. The city does not charge a fee for the "sign off". The city official is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Permit Application-Roofing
• Permit Application-Commercial- this application must include two sets of engineered drawings and one site plan These permits become null and void if work authorized is not commenced within 6 months or if the construction is suspended or abandoned for a period of 6 months at any time after work is commenced.
• Permit Application-Residential This application must include two sets of sealed plans and one boundary survey. These permits become null and void if work authorized is not commenced within 6 months or if the construction is suspended or abandoned for a period of 6 months at any time after work is commenced.
