State Licenses

Apprentice Crane Operator

Apprentice Crane Operator work with trained Crane Operator(s) in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of overhead lifting equipment. Gain technical knowledge and skills.

Brick Masonry

This license covers masonry work common to the construction industry including restoration.

Class I Crane Operator

This applies to tower cranes, telescoping boom and lattice boom cranes , wall cranes, and other hoisting equipment that have the same fundamental characteristics. You establish a minimum of 2,000 hours of work experience as a crane operator during the preceding 48-month period.

Class II Crane Operator

You establish a minimum of 2,000 hours of work experience as a crane operator during the preceding 48-month period.

Concrete Masonry

To construct forms and framework for the casting and shaping of concrete, to erect reinforcing steel and miscellaneous embedded steel, to place mesh reinforcement, plastic vapor barriers and edge forms, and to pour, place and finish concrete including flatwork; also can apply decorative materials to driveways, lanais and patios. Shall also install tie beams and alternative wall systems, erect pre-cast or pre-stressed concrete products, and those who are qualified to install poured concrete roof deck systems.

Elevator Mechanics

"Elevator Mechanics", assemble, install, maintain, and replace elevators, escalators, chairlifts, moving walkways, and similar equipment in buildings. Elevator installers and repairers usually specialize in installation, maintenance, or repair work.

General

A general contractor's responsibilities may include applying for building permits, advising the person they are hired by, securing the property, providing temporary utilities on site, managing personnel on site, providing site surveying and engineering, disposing or recycling of construction waste, monitoring schedules and cash flows, and maintaining accurate records.

Plumber

"Plumber Contractor" Shall include installation, repair, or replacement of pipes, fixtures, or other apparatus necessary either for supplying water or for removing liquid or waterborne waste located on private property. The term is also used to denote installed fixtures, backflow prevention devices, drainage, vents, and water distribution systems located on private property, and all plumbing work.

Private Alarm

An alarm system contractor means a contractor whose business includes all types of alarm systems other than fire, for all purposes.

Steam Boiler Erector & Repair

Unlimited boilers and associated gas and steam piping - residential, commercial and industrial.

Stationary Engineer

Stationary engineers service, and monitor equipment similar to that used on trains and ships, such as pumps, boilers, and turbines, but the equipment is stationary, rather than mobile. They also maintain and operate mechanical equipment that controls heating, air conditioning, electrical, fire, and safety systems in commercial buildings.

Supervising Elevator Mechanics

"Supervisor Elevator Mechanics Contractor" under supervision, direct and are responsible for the work of assigned personnel directed to the maintenance, repair and adjustment of all types of elevators and appurtenant elevator equipment.

Supervising Electrician

A general supervising electrician when working for or as an electrical contractor requiring a signing supervisor: Directs, supervises, makes, or controls the making of electrical installations; May design, plan, and lay out work for the customers of the contractor with whom the supervising electrician is continuously employed; and is the only individual authorized to direct, supervise, or control the installation or alteration of an electrical service.
