Building demolition contractors, non-explosive are those who are qualified and have the knowledge and skill to demolish buildings and structures or interior demolitions of existing structures. A building demolition contractor, non-explosive, is limited to demolishing buildings two (2) habitable stories in height or less. A state certified or registered contractor or local specialty contractor shall not be required to obtain a local building demolition, non-explosive, contractor license if said contractor is licensed to build the type of structure or improvement being demolished.
