The California Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting (C-4) contractor license allows you to install, service and repair power boiler installations, hot-water heating systems and steam fitting, including fire-tube and water-tube steel power boilers and hot-water heating low pressure boilers, steam fitting and piping, fittings, valves, gauges, pumps, radiators, convectors, fuel oil tanks, fuel oil lines, chimneys, flues, heat insulation and all other equipment, including solar heating equipment, associated with these systems.
The CSLB will either issue your license or contact you if they need further information.

The book set includes all source references for the California Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting (C-4) Contractor exams. You can use these books to study for the exams but you are not allowed to bring these books in with you to the testing center. These tests will be closed-book.
