Waterproofing Category--Class "W": The scope of a Class "W" specialty building contractor shall include and be limited to the application of waterproofing products by brush, roller, or spray methods to existing interior and exterior surfaces, except roofs, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, including the cleaning, sandblasting, caulking, and priming of surfaces in preparation for the application of waterproofing products. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "W" specialty building contractor by the board, the applicant shall have at least two (2) years of practical experience in the category.
