Underground Utility & Excavation Contractor—Class "1A-A." The scope of work of a Class "1A-A" engineered utility system builder shall include and be limited to the construction, installation, repair, maintenance, alteration, extension, and excavation for water and waste water piping systems, storm and drainage systems, and the installation of force mains, pumping stations, and pipeline appurtenances, including catch basins, manholes, valves, and similar equipment incidental thereto, in compliance with the building code and other applicable codes and regulations. The work of a Class "1A-A" engineered utility system builder shall stop at a point five (5) feet from a building or structure not specifically constructed or intended to be used for the purpose of pumping or processing water, waste water, or drainage. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "1A-A" engineered utility system builder by the board, the applicant shall have at least (6) years of practical experience in the class.
