Structural Steel Category--Class "SS": The scope of work of a Class "SS" specialty building contractor shall include and be limited to the erection of structural steel shapes and plates, including such minor field fabrication as may be necessary, of any profile, perimeter, or cross-section used, or which may be used, as structural members for buildings and structures, including steel joists; steel decking in conjunction with lightweight decks; siding; communication towers; and all riveting, welding, and rigging necessary and incidental thereto. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "SS" specialty building contractor by the board, the applicant shall have at least six (6) years of practical experience in the category.
