Screen Enclosures Category--Class "SC": The scope of work of a Class "SC" specialty building contractor shall include and be limited to the fabrication, installation, and erection of an enclosure, or any part thereof, which in whole or in part is self-supporting and which has walls of insect screening and a roof of insect creening, plastic, aluminum, or similar lightweight material. For the purpose of this category, "self-supporting" is defined as being supported to the ground or an existing structure below, or by existing columns or walls, but not cantilevered. A Class "SC" specialty building contractor shall not construct cabana rooms or carports nor pour concrete slabs. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "SC" specialty building contractor by the board, the applicant shall have at least one (1) year of practical experience in the category.
