Flooring Category--Class "FL":The scope of work of a Class "FL" specialty building contractor shall include and be limited to the fabrication and application of floor surface materials made of asphalt, vinyl, sheet vinyl, cork linoleum, parquet wood, wood strips, and similar pre-finished surface flooring materials which are prefabricated or cast-in-place. A Class "FL" specialty building contractor may also repair, paint, and relay resilient tile floor coverings. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "FL" specialty building contractor by the board, the applicant shall have at least one (1) year of practical experience in the category.
