Cable Television--Class "G." The scope of a Class "G" engineered utility and drainage builder shall include and be limited to the construction, installation, repair, alteration, extension, and excavation for public and private cable television and similar communications systems, being limited to the transmission and distribution lines, including valves, meters, and similar equipment and components incidental thereto, in compliance with the building code and other applicable codes and regulations. A Class "G" engineered utility and drainage builder may restore pavement, roadway, and walkway surfaces excavated or removed in the course of the work of a Class "G" engineered utility and drainage builder. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "G" engineered utility and drainage builder by the board, the applicant shall have at least four (4) years of practical experience in the class.
