What to look out for when Renting Books
There are a few things you should know about Book Rentals. They aren't always the best choice to study to obtain any license. Below you will see a few reasons why.
Fees
When it comes to book rentals, they have many fees. You have a Deposit, which most of the time could be refundable. At that point, the books must be in the same condition. You have the actual book rental fee. Let's say you take six months to study, you no longer are eligible to have the deposit back, and if you are using their courses, another fee would be added to regain access again. After going through all this, all the money you just spent is more then what a new book set can cost.
Time Frame
A considerable issue with a lot of companies that issue book rentals are the allowed time frame to use their materials. A lot of companies only allow you to use their materials for about a 6-month time cycle. Now your stuck rushing to study throughout all the book required in the time frame they have allowed you to review. If you were to purchase the books, you could study at your own pace.
Editions
Most of the time, companies or individuals do not have or provide the current editions needed for the year you take the exams. Now you have to spend more money to repurchase the current versions required. Going through this issue may cost you the exam, which means having to repay testing fees over again until you pass.
